Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Formbase, including subscription, acceptable use, and liability limits.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Formbase, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Formbase transforms Google Forms into branded web experiences, including template customization, SEO settings, scripts, analytics, and optional file uploads to Google Drive.

Formbase depends on third-party services (including Google and Paddle), which are governed by their own terms and policies.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for account security and activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us promptly.

4. Subscription and Payments

Paid features are billed in advance on a recurring billing cycle. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for payment processing.

Prices, plan features, and availability may change over time. We provide notice where required by applicable law.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Partial-period refunds are not provided unless required by law.

6. Data Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Form submissions: we are designed not to store respondent answer content in our database; submissions are sent to Google Forms/Sheets.

File uploads: files are processed through our backend and uploaded to the creator's Google Drive; we do not intentionally persist file contents in our database.

Sharing settings: upload features may set files to be viewable by anyone with the link, and you are responsible for compliance with your own legal requirements.

7. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the Service for unlawful content or activity.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
  • Do not disrupt service operation through abuse or excessive load.
  • Do not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Formbase and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
